POSITION: Interlibrary Loan Technician (Competition #2025-53)
LOCATION: Woodstock – Oxford County Administrative Building
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Full-time (35hrs/week)
REPORTING TO: Systems Librarian
UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union
WAGE RATE: $27.78/hr – $34.73/hr ($50,559.60 – $63,208.60/annually)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Systems Librarian, the Interlibrary Loan Technician provides system-wide support for interlibrary loan services.
The Interlibrary Loan Technician also provides collections support services and customer service at Library Headquarters.
All Oxford County Library (OCL) employees are responsible for supporting the Library’s Mission, Vision and Values
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Post-secondary education in Library studies with an emphasis on cataloguing and technical services. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Demonstrated experience working in a library environment. Experience with interlibrary loan systems considered an asset.
· Computer proficiency and knowledge of integrated library systems, the Dewey decimal system, indexing and cataloguing of both print and digital collections are required.
· Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Capable of instructing staff and patrons with varying degrees of technology experience
· Valid Ontario driver’s license required. Must be able to travel to multiple locations.
